bSI Use Case Management Service (UCMS)

The Use Case Management Service of buildingSMART international enables the capture, specification and exchange of best practices and makes them accessible to the entire built asset industry. Throughout the entire process of design, construction and operation, the information exchange requirement must be defined for each BIM use case. Based on the Information Delivery Manual (IDM) methodology developed by buildingSMART, the operational processes and, as a result, the information exchange requirements are described. The exact definition of the information flow between the respective project participants enables collaborative work and the efficient and error-free exchange of data.

Engage yourself on the Use Case Management Service? By doing so, you contribute to a better understanding of the BIM methodology, to the faster provision of Information Delivery Manuals (IDM) and to the overall improvement of BIM projects. The Use Case Management Service allows all members of buildingSMART as well as companies and associations to collaboratively develop their projects in a co-creation space and then publish them on the UCM website.

Die kantonale GIS repräsentieren räumliche Referenzdaten und entwickeln sich zunehmend in die dritte Dimension. Bislang werden nur oberirdische Gebäude angeboten, welche fotogrammetrisch entstanden sind. Die inneren und unterirdischen Bestandteile davon (Keller, Einstellhalle, Erschliessung, etc.) befinden sich nicht darunter. Im Sinne von nachhaltigem, hochgenauem und vollständigem Gebäude werden sie künftig ab der Baueingabe und später analog der Baubewilligung im GIS ab IFC dargestellt. Der Use Case stellt den Datenfluss für eine Druckverlustberechnung einer Lüftungsanlage dar. Der Use Case unterstützt den Facility Manager und Planer bei der Aufgabe, die geplante Ventilatorleistung sowie die zu erwartende Änderung im Jahresstrombedarf abzuschätzen. .ifc-Daten aus der Planung zu Lüftungskomponenten werden aus einem CAD-Programm in eine BIM-Software (SIMULTAN) eingelesen. Die Komponenten werden mit ihren erforderlichen Parametern in der Software abgebildet. In einem Plugin der Software wird eine Druckverlustberechnung für den Anlagenzustand vor und nach der Umbaumaßnahme durchgeführt. Die Überprüfung erlaubt die Entscheidung, ob eine Überarbeitung der Planung erforderlich ist oder eine Freigabe erfolgen soll. Mit Variantenbildungen kann eine Energieoptimierung (Leistung, Bedarf) durchgeführt werden. Für die Ausführungsplanung der Stahlbetonbewehrung benötigt man zwei wesentliche Grundlagen: Die exakte Geometrie des auszuführenden Bauwerks mit Aussparungen und Einbauteilen (Schalmaße), sowie die statische Berechnung (siehe Abschnitt 4), die neben konstruktiven Hinweisen (z.B. maximale Stabdurchmesser oder minimale Abstände) die statisch erforderliche Bewehrungsmenge für jedes Bauteil und deren Verteilung beinhaltet. Das Bewehrungsmodell wird als eigenständiges Fachmodell der Tragwerksplanung modelliert. Als Modellgrundlage wird ein Tragwerksmodells genutzt, aus dem die Schalpläne abgeleitet werden können. Dieses Schalungsmodell, wenn man es nennen möchte, muss sowohl die geometrischen (LOG) als auch attributiven Voraussetzungen (LOI) erfüllen, die für eine exakte Ausführungsplanung notwendig sind. Das mit einem BIM-Autorenwerkzeug erstellte Bewehrungsmodell dient dann in den folgenden BIMProzessen der Qualitätssicherung, Koordination, Mengenermittlung und kann außerdem als Grundlage für die automatisierte Erstellung der Bewehrungskomponenten in der Vorfabrikation dienen. The ROS-BIM Project utilizes a dynamic integration between the Robotic Operation System (ROS) and the ifcOWL ontology to enable the automation of digital fabrication using IFC model data. The project's objectives included examining the feasibility of integrating ROS with ifcOWL ontology for digital fabrication automation, developing a workflow for extracting wall geometry data (including openings) from IFC models, and implementing a system for cutting gypsum boards based on standard dimensions. Additionally, the team aimed to simulate and visualize robotic movements and fabrication processes using RVIZ and update the resulting panel geometry on the server as an IfcBuildingElementProxy, labeling them with their fabrication status.
