The Use Case Management of buildingSMART International (UCM) enables BIM use cases from the entire construction value chain to be compiled on a central platform and made accessible to all interested parties all around the world free of charge. The service is available to the buildingSMART international working groups as well as the national Chapters.
Besides buildingSMART chapters Switzerland, Austria and France, buildingSMART Germany is among the pioneers of this initiative, which started in 2018 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding under the umbrella of buildingSMART International.
buildingSMART Germany enables its expert and project groups to use the platform free of charge and provides them with support from the corporate office in preparing and registering their BIM use cases.
Participation in Use Case Management
You would like to actively participate in the Use Case Management of buildingSMART with your own BIM use cases from Germany? By doing so, you will make an important contribution to a better understanding of the BIM methodology, to the faster provision of corresponding Information Delivery Manuals (IDM) and to the overall improvement of BIM projects in Germany.
